Odd one... YouTube videos are playing fine, iPlayer is playing fine, BBC News Videos will not play.

Running Flash 10.2.153.1

Firefox 4 - get the red loading swoosh then a black box where the video should be and no sound
Chrome - no video box at all
Opera - get the red loading swoosh then a black box where the video should be and no sound
IE8- just a black box where the video should be and no sound

Any ideas ?

Try uninstalling flash and reinstalling it?

that is a lot of browsers, so its going to be either the plugin itself that is knackered or maybe its not working for anyone, example?

Moved up today to Flash 10.3.181.14 and still no video only on BBC.

Same issue is replicated on another machine both running XP SP3.

Suggests it's something common to both machines that you've installed.

agreed, its something to do with the way you are configging them

Have you installed any codec packs that might affect video replay?
