    troubles with creative/scan

Right, last september traded some eve-online ISK(game money) to a guy in return for buying me speakers/soundcard/case from scan, went fine, arrived timely, packaged properly with invoice etc.

Problem is I threw out the big box with the invoice taped, and now I am trying to return my soundcard(sb audigy 2 ZS) to creative they are insisting on proof of purchase.

The person who bought them, I have lost complete contact with him(mail bounces, website's gone, and I lost his address)

Tried mailing scan, and at first they said they would send me a copy if I could provide one of the serial numbers, provided serial numbers for everything, but another person replied this time saying he would snail mail the invoice to the person who had originally bought it, thereby helping me none :/

I have a audigy2 ZS that doesnt work, and t7700 speakers that are now useless.

The one thing I did get off scan was an invoice number.

    Any ideas?

The forum rules for that forum says it IS NOT for customer support.

    Figured this one was better.

    right

I'll fix this for you seeing as I'm such a nice chappy.

All our products have a SCIL number on the sticker with our reference on etc. If you can supply this number we can then check which invoice it was allocated to and then we can either send you an electronic copy and/or a paper copy.

Soon as you give me this information - I can start the ball rolling on sorting this for you.

    Best Regards

    Lee

KDH - cheers for the PM with the SCIL code

You have an electronic copy of the invoice waiting for you in your PM section of the website.

    Hope this assists you.

    Best Regards,

    Lee
