    uploadit.org - needs home address?

I've been pointed towards uploadit.org for image hosting, but noticed that it wants my address before it'll register me. Since I had loads of spam last year, and with conventional junk mail in mind, I'm reluctant to give this sort of thing out willy-nilly.

Can someone who uses this service put my mind at ease? Also, if you use the premium service, is it a good deal?

    Cheers

www.photobucket.com is another option for image hosting, is free and not as intrusive as that one.

I tried this - its was rubbish for images over like 600k(? dunno forgot the image size allowance) as it rescales and sizes them to fit in the limits.

NOT what you really want when you want to share a snap from a 5 Megapixel to see kryten style heads.

Imageshack usually provides free and reliable image hosting. Been using them for a while now with no problems as such.

Yep, I have some webspace with ntl (and a defunct homepage to go with it, natch ) I just haven't got around to reinstalling my ftp software since getting XP. An MSc, UT2004 and shear bone-idleness have prevented me so far.

I registered with uploadit.org last night and you can now see my piccies in the cases and workspace stickies in the Case Gallery forum. I'm even considering getting the full whack and using it to support the creation of a photography site, now I've figured out my digicam
