About LinkBacksa friend is having probs when burning dvds. nero is fine with audio cds but when burning dvd's it always stops at 7% and says invalid block address. any ideas?

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
Duff media or a duff image that you are trying to burn (as it seems to work OK burning CD's - hence the drive/PC seem OK). Try burning a different DVD image file and try some different *quality* media. Beyond that, we need more info.
