    which DVD software

    My NEC 3500a arrived today Just need some software now to start backing up the dvd & game collection. can anyone recommend something that reliable & most of all easy to use.

    Nero. Note that most games and DVDs will come with copy protection. And your drive probably won't do DVD9, so you'll have to do some downsampling/reauthoring of most movie DVDs. Have a read up of everything you need (most of it freeware) on http://www.cdfreaks.com. Also have a look at http://www.dvddecrypter.com and http://www.dvdshrink.org and http://www.dvdhelp.com.

    Ps. Don't back up anything you don't own. (yes, I know you knew that. :-))
