    Just made an order for a mate from ebuyer .....will this motherboard:

    Yes I'm sure it will be ok m8 lol.I know what you mean tho.It is a bit confusing.They (semprons)have just took over from duron's really.

    i just did a search about and freaked out that it was a budget AMD64 core or something

    I was going to say that you probably have to update the BIOS for Sempron support - but the last VA-10 BIOS was last year.http://fae.abit.com.tw/eng/download/bios/va-10.php
    I suspect all that will happen is it won't recognise it & you'll have to set it up manually in the BIOS (btw. Socket A Semprons are based on Thoroughbred core - socket 754's on K8).

    Cheers for the help, also am i right in thinkin that the moboard uses system RAM for on board VGA ?
