Flash + RAM Probs

I recently purchased some Crucial 512mb SDRAM 133Mhz RAM from Ebuyer.
Everything arrive, put it into my AOpen MX3W Pro E (P3 board) expecting it all to be fine. It posts as 260Mbs, nothing higher.

Would this be a problem with the board (i.e. it doesn't support 512 modules)?
I also tried flashing the BIOS but couldn't, it just wouldn't get to the A: prompt, wether it was set to bootable or not
It only seems to want to boot from CD, does Nero have an option to make a CD bootable?

I really need an answer because if my Crucial turns out to actually be a 256 module i'll need to return it sharpish.

did you try to use 2 512 sticks?

If so then thats why...

Absolutely no idea, a distinct lack of documentation my end, will have a look tomorrow afternoon, unless anyone can help?
