Virtual drive problem

I seem to have a rogue scsi dvd rom
I do not have deamon tools
I have alcohol but have set the virtual drives to 0
I have tried uninstalling alcohol
I have also tried disabling then uninstalling the driver in device manager witch gets rid.
But when i reboot its back like a bad smell

Can anybody help please
