wireless keyboard and game problem???

hi, i have a wireless keyborad, and on most games i have, on the option menus, its like the someone has theyre finger on the down key, all the options are scrolling through, im not touching it, it happens on NFS underground..the new juiced demo, World Championship Snooker 2003, and Colin Mcrae 4......anyone know a solution to this problem, as i have to wait for it to scroll over the option i want, then hit enter, its a really strange issue!!!
