I have had this come up on a shuttle i have built, no other software installed other than windows xp SP2, i have installed 3 times and using different versions, but still the same problem, a repair also fails to fix this. It is possible to get into windows and once up and running there seems to be no problems.

the ram in the shuttle is DDR 3200 and was set on sync with the cpu which is a AMD 3000+, i just changed the ram setting in the bios to 'auto' and the problem has gone (for now) does anyone think that could have caused the issue? as it's temperamental the ram frequency is now 333 which is not its optimal setting is it?

Any ideas guys?
