i am going to buy Asus A8V deluxe board with a AMD Winchester CPU...

can i just flash the board with this Winchester CPU installed? or the A8V couldn't even boot...(since it doesn't recognize the Winchester core without flashing the board)..

if u put a stick of ram into slot 3 and reset the bios (though resetting it isnt always needed, just in my case it seemed :-S)

it should post, which is enough for you to flash the bios
