    Intermittent PC fail to boot

PC is about 5 years old. No new components in last year or so. Last couple of weeks some kind of fault has crept in. Pressing power button seems to power everything up (drives, fans etc), just won't boot. Try it a couple of a minutes later and it boots. As I say no hardware changes.

Gonna try a new PSU. Anyone else had similar problems? How'd you fix?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

I agree, sounds like PSU. Possibly BIOS corruption.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Re: Intermittent PC fail to boot

Whilst there has been no hardware changes,
Have you made sure to try removing all peripherals from the computer and seeing if it will boot, I'm just thinking before you go for a new PSU, try everything else?
And yes, I acknowledge that it is likely not the peripherals, but just give it a go?
