About LinkBacksI just downloaded the new catelyst. I installed it and when I click the icon I get: the application failed to initiallize properly (0xc0000125)
what should I do guys?

few things to check, did you uninstall the old drivers first, are you installing the 5.1 cats with the ati control center or the with the old control panal, if it's the control center verson of the drivers... have you got .NET installed.

ok i got the .net and now the control centre works. As for the driver I hav'nt uninstalled the old one yet. I just dbl clicked the icon from my docs which is where i saved it to?

when i try update driver and choose browse it doesnt appear in the my documents but it is there! where do i install it from after ive uninstalled the current one? sorry

the driver you d/loaded should be a self extracting file....... just double click the file and it will extract the drives and start the install.

ok I've done that then, how doo I check the current catelyst version (4.11 or 5.1) im assuming the driver version is a differant thing because i have 6.14 not 5.1?!

Not sure how you check the version with the new control center..... as I've never had it installed.... but under the control panal it would tell you the version of the cat's your using under options.
