    Help Msn Virus!

There is an msn virus going round, its bropia, most people have bropia_F. Mcafee cant find this nor can nortan as far as we can tell. Fsecure online scan finds it but it now wont let u delete the virus (its actually a worm). How can i get rid of these viruses, i dont wanna have to get them to uninstall thier anti virus and instal another one, if it can be helped.

Ok, it seems Bropia F must be fairly new, as I can't find it on Symantec or McAfee. It is possible that F-Secure have labelled one form of the virus F, whilst Symantec have labelled it, N, for instance.

Are you sure you have 'F'? It seems N is the most widespread form?

    Try this:

    http://securityresponse.symantec.com...r/FxBropia.exe

Its a Symantec made tool which will scan your computer for the main forms of Bropia, and remove it. It also won't interfere with your current Anti Virus.
