Thanks for the heads up but a little late as the part was delivered a couple of weeks ago, but the saga continues. I ordered a usb/firewire IcyBox and upon delivery tried to mount the SATA drive and adapter into the enclosure only to discover that it doesn't fit!!!

So I am now left with a useless SATA drive, a redundant adapter and an un-used enclosure!!! I haven't decided what to do yet, I may shell out another 20 quid on the 5.25 sized Icybox as I believe it will fit in there. Which means I will have a 3.5" Icybox for sale
