Dell Axim X5 Screen calibration issues

I recently started using my pocket pc again due to getting gps on it, however evry now and then the screen calibration goes funny, with every tap registering as being on the bottom part of the screen. I have tried cleaning the creen, replacing the screen protector but that only seems to fix it for a little while. The problem usually starts wehn im using the gps software, but even if i can quit out it still does it. Sometimes a soft reset fixes the problem, sometimes not.
Has anyone seen this before and if so what did you have to do to resolve it.

Looks like ive sussed the problem, the car mount was squeezing the case and causing it to distort the pda case which was obviously causing the problem. So looks like a generic pda mount's not the way to go.
