Multiple avi's to DVD

I don't have a CLUE where this thread should be, so I decided to post it here..

Does anyone know of any software, which is a all-in-one converter for converting avi to dvd? I know of Avi2Dvd, which works, but it doesn't for multiple avi's, basicly I have 25 of them and want them all on dvd, well, they won't all fit on dvd so about 12 of them on DVD.

ANyone know of any decent software? Freeware if possible please.. thanks

I have had great success with DivxtoDVD, great little program, very easy to use.. Lots of Auto settings (for people like me ), and best of all will accept multiple input files which can be a mixture of avi's, mpg's, mov's, etc. I think there is a free download that you can trial it with.

I just use Nero. Is really has come on leaps and bounds in the latest version. Everything you need in one package - DVD structure creation, convertion on the fly and then burning. If you have not got a copy (most people have somewhere these days) get a copy off eBay for around £5.

I have that, but it's pretty useless to me imo. Especially for making DVD's, it's a simple interface but very very very standard and you can't do much with it. and when it's converting videos for dvd format sometimes they are very screwed up and crap quality using a lot of disc space.

Think I will download latest trial ver and create a DVD from multiple AVI's... and watch on TV rather than PC.

Great thread guys - i tried it, but it has put some of the files slightly out of sync (audio/video) - is there anyway of checking this properly beforehand, and more importantly, anyway of preventing it?

All the avi's i've converted have turned out ok... but.. I may have just been lucky.

not out of sync for me, but as always, I make images first before I burn cds.. saves me making corrupt/not working cds
