    Stability Issues Help Please!

Hey, my rig is about a week old and I've been having stablity issues without and recently they have become pretty bad. Firsty (the most annoying one) whenever I play back a file in windows media player in xvid it stutters for 1 second every few minutes... I thought it was a CPU problem so I ran task manager and CPU didnt ever spike and was a low constant % throughout playback.

Also during games it tends to freeze when playing AOE III and HL2 but not FEAR for some strange reason. I have latest drivers for pretty much everything.

It might be a software problem because I have both ntune and aibooster installed and they are both monitoring and adjusting the system (i think).

It might be a tempreture problem as I use qfan to keep system noise down... I get temps CPU 39 CHA 39 GPU 45 idle, I dunno what load temps I get. I tried disabling Qfan and going to stock speeds but that didnt help.

The thing is though, when I look at AI Booster the CPU Clock speed fluctuates!! I dunno if this is normal but it may be why this is happening. It fluctuates from 2190 to 2210 when idle. I have no idea why. Maybe its normal.

Try uninstalling AI Booster and restart, see if you get the same problems when its not there.

Other than that I would say make sure you have the latest motherboard drivers installed

Could it be your anti-virus checking the video files? Check the extension black/whitelist.

As these run at a higher priority then most other things they can block your PC once in a while. However don't lower the priority or all the on-access scanning will slow down too

have you checked the Bios to make sure you are on the 'Stable' settings and not the overclocked ones as this can cause problems on my system.
