ATI 9800 pro AIW+ video capture problems

Hi just hocked up my new 9800 PRO AIW to start transffering all my old home movies to disc but can't get a compersite video input.

It will capture from the tv tuner but not from my video.

I have run the system test from the ATI softwear and it shows the capture drivers installed.

I have also tried my video camera to confirm the source feed is ok and still no joy. I have rechecked that all cables are in the right way and am running out of ideas.

Any surggestion would be appreciated

What program are you using for capturing?

Pinnacle stuido 9 se but i also tried changing the ATI TV software from tuner to compersite input. No response
