how do i stop dllhost.exe?

hi guys

just wondering how i stop dllhost.exe from working?[Taskman doesnt work-it restarts it]
cos im fedup of it lagging my pc down

Also-what does it come with?

dllhost.exe does exaclt yhwat it sounds like - it allows any given dll to "run" (where usually a dll can't be run)

it's not dllhost that's causing you issues, it's whatever the dll that's being hosted is - which might be tricky to track down.

hmmm....well funnily enough i've noticed it's only started with Ms .Net Framework sp 1.1

and i use that for a San Andreas Mod Installer

why not get .NET framework version 2. Never know - it might sort it.

you can stop dllhost.exe by stopping the service "com+ system application" (comsysapp).
