    Microphone feedback

I have just moved my pc to a smaller room and now i get alot of feedback infact its so bad i cannot use any voice comms at all. I have a Audigy 2 with some Sennheiser headphones and a Logitech Quickcam as a mic. I was using this setup in another room with no problems at all but now i just get awful feedback. Are there any easy solutions to this problem.

Feedback using headphones? That should be very hard to do unless your headphones are *very* loud.

Sure you havnt plugged something in wrong?

I'd guess you have your headphones plugged into the mic socket and vice versa. Failing that you could try reducing the vol on your mic and see if that sorts it.

Well my headphones are definately in the right socket as my mic is usb. Whilst testing my audio equipment in windows my mic volume just goes up by itself and i cannot reduce it.
