Lost Photo's on a Compact Flash Card

    HELP!

I have a large number of photos on a 128 MB from Christmas and the new year. I had taken the card out of my camera and put the CF into a USB card reader on a PC and the photos were easily viewed on the PC however, suddenly the PC froze and the card was removed. Now the Photos are not found on the card. There is however 96 MB used on the card. The CF was placed back in the camera and the card still works but the original pictures are missing.

Question - Are the photos recoverable?

if you used the software i linked to you will probably need to tick intensive mode option in the file>settings for the scanning instead of fast mode as i had to or else the files it recovered would not open
