I recently replaced my dead mobo with a new FoxConn something-or-other skt 754 nvidia thingy (I'd be more specific but the model number isn't exactly memorable).
I seem to be having problems with my USB devices since I moved to this motherboard. The specific problem I get most is that I have a four-port USB2 powered hub plugged into one of the USB ports on the back and into that I have a printer and a digicam plugged in.
I can have the printer on or the digicam, but not both. If I'm in the middle of printing and I happen to turn on the camera (which I try to avoid doing now of course) the printer dies and only a reboot will restore printing again.
This is probably a fault with the motherboard, but is there any way I can be sure? I'm running the latest bios, have installed the correct USB2 drivers etc. The power supply is a Tagan 450W so there is plenty of power to the system (plus the hub is powered separately too).
Ideas? I'm thinking maybe there is some kind of software tool that can give me an idea of problems or whatever?
