My Pc keeps shutting down. Why?

Hi, we have a Mesh laptop. Venture 15" Model 40ES. We have had no problems until my son has started playing a DVD game, Battle of Middle Earth Lord of the Rings. Whilst he is playing it just shuts down completely. It has now started doing it when he is on MSN games too. It seems fine otherwise. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

Shutting down during gaming could be a heat problem(?) during msn who knows. Do the usual things make sure you have all the winxp updates, make sure your virus prog is upto date and run it, use a spyware package like adaware just to check there are no nasties. If it is a heat problem make sure all the vents are clear on the bottom of the laptop when in use, listern to hear the cooling fans start.
