    How to clean a TFT?

Don't know if anyone else has tried to clean their TFT monitor, but i tried the other day. I use alcohol-based swabs (usually great for injecting purposes!) that clean my glasses well, but it didnt leave a good job on my monitor. I then made the situation worse by spitting on a toilet tissue and rubbing it.

I now have a smeared TFT.

    Help??

You have to be very careful with a tft screen as they are very easy to damage as a lot of people have found out to their cost.

I use a lint free cloth and just dampen it with water then lightly clean the screen, you can also check this link and also find more info on google.

I stay in Bristol uni but they never told us how to clean TFTs... TFTs in our computer labs are on 24/7 ... and they always look good... =)
