    Urgent motherboard advice!

Tomorrow I shall (hopefully) be taking delivery of an Abit NV8 SKT 754 PCI-E motherboard. Will I need to format? I'm under the impression that I will need a format, but I want to make sure before I destroy all of my installs .

Some folks have managed by with a repair install, but I'd go for a fresh install myself.

Sometimes it helps if you reboot into safemode before hand and remove all the motherboard specific drivers from device manager etc...

But what if you have just installed the exact same MB? I had to replace mine with a new one because of a keyboard chip failure.
