its freezing every 30 mins with everything at stock :S, i cant locate any chipset drivers for it. So ive decided to format, hoping it sorts it

Assuming you have windows installed and you have changed M/B, I'd format and re-install. I've always had trouble changing M/Bs
I'd check the ABIT and ATI websites for chipset drivers - it seems a bit strange not to have any.

update: Just done a format, took hour and half :@, but its done, having real trouble trying to find chipset drivers for this board.. Can anyone shed some light on this?

may be start a new thread asking if any one has a AT8 M/B?
