AutoPlay not working!

When I insert a CD, DVD or Flash Drive the Autoplay doesn't work. I can right click on the drive and choose Autoplay but it doesn't work when I insert the disk initially. I have had this problem before and remember spending ages searching for the solution on the Internet. I didn't save any of the links and need a solution fast.... Can you help????

have you tried tweakui from Microsoft?

right click on the drive, select properties and then click on the autoplay tab, you can then either restore the defaults or check that you want it to prompt you each time....

Thanks for your replies. I have tried all that you suggested including Microsoft AutoPlay fix tool (Autofix) but still no joy.

All removable drives are affected.

Any other ideas???

Also, have you tried un-installing the drives via device manager, then reboot
