    Exclamation HELP!!! No MSN Sounds

    I have been having trouble with my MSN messenger sounds for the past week or so and now ive found out that my windows sounds for MSN is empty!!

    I dont know what to do, i have no nudge sounds, no emotes sounds and i dont recieve a sound when i recieve a message and it now means i miss alot of people when im online but away from my PC!!!

    Can anyone please help, this is really starting to annoy me, please help!!!

    Hah that would seem a good idea. You could also try the Beta if that doesn't work

    or go to sound in control panel and then in the second toolbar there is a drop down set this to windows default and you should have all sounds back....

    Tried it, its for Windows Default (thats wot its on now) and No Sounds... thats all

    hmm thats the limits of my knowledge . I don't even have MSN sounds on cos they suck... I assume you have checked the "notification sounds" and all that in the MSN options...

    tried downlaoding a different version of msn?

    Yes, ive downloaded MSN 6.2, 7 and 7.5, all have the same problems...

    Have you tried uninstalling any version of MSN you can find first, then installing the BETA?
    It's getting to be rather a long shot now I know, but every little helps....possibly

    That picture doesnt help.

    It shows Windows Messenger has sounds.

    You should be able to re-add the sounds from C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\

    ive got them working now, i installed Beta and not its fine, i needed the sounds because i didnt kno when ppl were online...
