    Which books to use to learn Flash, PHP and MySQL?

    I'm an IT Tech in a primary school and want to learn Flash, PHP and MySQL in my summer hols, with PHP and MySQL being the priorities.

    I could use the free online tutorials but I work better if I have a book in front of me.

    Any recommendations for cheap books?

    I got mine from dvd.co.uk, third edition with CD for £16.something delivered.

    There were cheaper ones out there but when you add delivery and the possibility of it not being the latest edition...

    Larry Ulman's "PHP and MySQL for dynamic websites" is very good, although primarily aimed at web design and assumes some knowledge of databases. For Apache I use "Apache - the Definitive Guide" by Laurie and Laurie.

    Take a trip to Waterstones and browse through them before you decide.
