    BF2 Texture Problem (pics)

When playing i get this weird texture problem, i have tried fixing it for ages by messing about with the driver settings but it keeps popping up

i have a nvidia 7600GT with the latest drivers

vsync on with tripple buffering. and i use the advanced settings ( not app controlled except aa/af) something obviously is set wrong

Is that the 91.31 drivers? Might want to try some other versions (84.21 for example) to see if that helps.

Agreed, 91.31 have all sorts of bugs in them (in Counterstrike the rain on the Aztec map becomes little black squares. Stick to 84.21.

I have a 7600GT and play BF2 alot. I do not have those problems.
I currently use the 91.31 nvidia graphics drivers on Win XP SP2, and before that use the 85 series drivers with no probs.

I used to have a 6800, which has 12 pipes but a further 4 locked. When I soft-unlocked them, or even when I overclocked it too far, i saw images such as yours above.

I'd say therefore that the issue may be to do with your actual graphics card and not to do with drivers. Is it very overclocked?

Looks like a problem with the graphics card memory, although I have seen similar problems with Far Cry when I oclocked my A64 too far . If you un overclock your CPU and the problem is still there then its probably a dodgy graphics card.

Download Rivatuner or use some sort of overclocking utility you already have, and turn down the clock settings a nudge, like 10 or 20 mhz, perhaps on the memory specifically as one guy said. It could also be due to a heat build up, especially as it's summer now.

I hope that's a spelling mistake, or that's gonna be some tough decision to make...

I get problems in BF2 if, when starting the game, I click straight onto the 'play multiplayer' option. If I click 'start BF2 now', then select multiplayer in-game, I don't have any issues. But I have a different gc so may be something else..
