    Ghetto

Get a quiet fan it does not need a lot like I say my Big Typhoon kept them cool enough.

There is a fan header and an option in the uGuru to set it up to be temperature controlled.

Also you will get 2.8 without 1.4v use the little incremental option for voltage bump - should be around 1.38 to get it stable.

    Trust me
    Anyone seen my opteron?

    You mean this option?

I was never sure what it did... you'll have to explain.

EDIT: Everest reports that I have 1.41v going through the CPU... hmmm.

    Yes thats the option

So you have 1.35 set then you add +10 then it goes to 1.36, 1.375 -10 the 1.365 etc

CPUz used to give me different voltages than I set in the bios - maybe it overvolts which is why you can set it lower I used to set either 1.35 or 1.375 and use the incrementaql bumps to stabilise. I preferred a low voltage stable OC - the chip can handel more but hey what is the point you never notice a difference beyond a certain point.... apart from willy waving

Glad the mod worked for you... I did come up with an alternative idea just in case you couldn't get anything else to work. Create a U shaped duct over the heatsinks leading to the copper fin array of the OTES exhaust and (assuming there are no fans on it) attach a fan to the outside set to SUCK
