    Why won't my memory work

I bought 2 x 1GB sticks of DDR PC4000 Ballistix for my PC (DFI LanParty nF4 SLi DR) and have never been able to get them to work. It posts and then gets to start Windows Server 2003 then bombs out. The worst thing is it also takes the mirrored OS with it and I have to re-install so I have only tried it twice. It won't run in my sons Asus A8N SLI Premium either. I would try to sell them on Ebay but I'm not sure if they are any good or not, don't want to loose my 100% feedback.
    Any ideas?

Have you tried 1 stick at a time? Is it definitely compatable with your motherboard?

    Hi there.
you may want to try some CRUCIAL SUPPORT on those dude.
    This is corsair.
But i can tell you from experiance that these sticks are far from reliable.
2 sets died on me so now i am back on bh-5 (mushkin) atm.

Google for MemTest. It creates a bootable disk/CD which you can use to test for RAM errors. If it finds any at default settings, send that RAM right back.

I've dealt with Crucial's RMA department twice, and on both occasions their service has been exemplary. 3 days from sending old RAM off to having new RAM installed in machine.
