    Angry DX9 Problem

    Hey all

Just brought Oblivion and it requires Direct X 9.0c the installer is included on the DVD but when installed it runs thens says tht all the files have been updated.

But after checking the dialog screen it shows that 9.0b is still installed so Oblivion crashes as soon as it is run

    Any advice???

Have you restarted your computer after installing DX9c?

Or maybe "manually" install DX9c from its own install exe if it didn't work while installing Oblivion.

Download and update your DX via microsoft or any other source which is upto date.

When installed restart pc and then go to start - run and type in
    dxdiag
on the first page it should tell you what version you are running.
