Help needed regarding 'Init display first' BIOS option

I recently built a new desktop PC, and have finally got around to looking at the BIOS settings in detail. I noticed that the 'Init display first' setting is set to PCI slot. I have a PCI-E graphics card however, and I just wondered if I should change this setting to the other option, which is 'PCIEx'.

it doesnt really matter the only potential reason why you might want a pci-slot graphics card booting first instead of a pci-e one is if you'd buggered up a firmware update on the pci-e one and were trying to recover it using a pci card (rather than just booting blind and hoping!)

Ok. Do you know why it was set to PCI though instead of PCIEX?

Because that's what the default is from the manufacturer.

I think they all are because it is the basic setting.
