Firewall?

I have just bought a 'Linksys wireless' model WRT54GS (Cable) which has firewall but i have a firewall in 'McAfee internet security suite'. Can i have both firewalls or will they conflict? If they confict which 1 should i use for my firewall?

you have 2 firewalls and they serve different purposes - keep them both.

You have a Hardware Firewall (The Router) This can stop problems as they enter, things like DDoS attacks.

The Software Firewall (Mcafee) is a second line of defence it can stop nasty's coming in and also nasty's from going out and spreading.

As said a Hardware and Software Firewall are recommended, although a software isnt needed behind a Hardware, but a form of firewall is 100% needed.

Never use two SOFTWARE Firewalls together as this can cause conflicts and malfunctions.
