    IPSec Error

A new error log entry is made every time I boot up for this problem:

    Event Type: Failure Audit
    Event Source: Security
    Event Category: Policy Change
    Event ID: 615
    Date: 16/02/2007
    Time: 19:52:24
    User: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE
    Computer:
    Description:
IPSec Services: IPSec Services failed to get the complete list of network interfaces on the machine. This can be a potential security hazard to the machine since some of the network interfaces may not get the protection as desired by the applied IPSec filters. Please run IPSec monitor snap-in to further diagnose the problem.

This puzzles me as I am not connected to any network, be it wireless or wired. Nor is this computer (Win XP Home) connected to the internet either.

    How can I resolve this?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have network cards in your machine and don't use them, disable them in device manager and the entries in the event logs should stop. If you have any virtual machine software installed (VMWare or Virtial PC etc) then they will install virtual network adaptors also.
