HIS Competition - Fancing getting your mitts on a new graphics card? 6 of you will!

Well its competition time again here at HEXUS, and we have yet another pretty tasty give away!

In order to enter you need to answer three fairly simple questions, and we really do mean simple, so simple infact we will even tell you where to find them all in one place.

HEXUS.tv is your friend here, all you do is watch, listen and enter. Easy huh?

Well once you have watched that you should be able to answer the questions with consumate ease!

    Here we go....

    1. What year was HIS founded?
    2. The HIS X1550 is the world's first what?
    3. What's the maximum number of monitors that the HIS X1550 card(s) could support?

Ok got them all? Ok good, get entering, send us an email to competition@hexus.net with the three answers, and HIS compo as the subject line, in fact click below if you want to save yourself some time.....clicky clicky.

Right good luck folks, but remember you got to abide be the following rules, failure to do so will result in Steven W coming round to sort you all out, understood? Good. (you shouldn't be comfortable about that happing lol)

    Here be them thar rules:

    • The competition will run until midnight on the 11th of May 2007.
    • No responsibility will be taken for lost or damaged entries. Proof of sending by email is not proof of entry.
    • In event of any dispute the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • The winner will be notified by email within 48 hours of the closing date.
    • Only one entry per email address, duplicate entries will result in all entries from that address being removed from the competition automatically.
    • The prize is a single graphics card for 6 people. We cannot guarantee you will get the model you wish, but we will be contacting the winners when appropriate and prizes will be allocated to them on a first come first served basis after we request your preference in the winners notification from HEXUS.
    • In the event that the prizes offered are unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater specification where possible.
    • Competitions are open to residents in the UK who are over 18 years of age.
    • Prize Draws are not open to employees of HEXUS.net.
    • Previous winners of HEXUS.net competitions may enter.

Great competition, and very very nice prices.

But once again, the competition is open to only the minority of Hexus.net readers

Not sure how you figure that one, unless you're implying that everyone who reads Hexus is employed by them...

The majority of people on these forums are UK residents. I'm sure there are valid reasons for not opening the competition up to everyone.

Right, first off, I can't understand a word that guy is saying, apart from a very unfortunate mispronunciation of the word 'clock'....you know what I'm talking about.

Secondly, no product codes are mentioned, and there are two world firsts, one of which is just about understandable, the other is complete jibberish. He talks about number of monitors for the second product, but since question no. 3 says 'card(s) you still don't know if question no. 2 is talking about the first world first or the second world first.....

Damn, I wish I knew more about graphics cards....I really want to enter this comp.

Guessing is the order of the day.....

Oh, and can I recomend a decent transition segway between parts of the shot....something with the hexus logo for a second before a snap transition between clips? That half second fade looked a little shoddy....
