Entered, this would make my photo editing soooo much easier, having to wear glasses to use my existing screen
i have an ultrawide dell that was on sale recently at Aria for £320ish. for gaming and films that retain their uber-wide cinema ratio it is awesome!
Edit - maths fail
Once i have a bit more space i think i will probably get a higher resolution 16:9/16:10 display for working
It's about time i replaced my CRT, fingers crossed.

time to replace my old monitor
Jesus, amazing opportunity. Thanks hexus!
This is exactly not the monitor I'm looking for. Huge and only 1080 pixels high. I have no idea what's the use case for this.
This would be an excellent work horse. Possibilities are endless!
Obviously I wouldn't turn down the ultrawide (*cough*), but 1440p is probably better ultimately. Even for 1920 widths, I prefer that little extra depth of a 1920x1200 display for Photoshop, music production and so on, so I'd like 1440p for the extra width and depth. On the other hand, I'd need a better graphics card than the one I have in order to indulge in gaming at 1440p.
Right now a lot of people complain that some of their games don't support the ultrawide resolution, even the big titles like Assassins Creed 4, so they have to deal with large areas of dead screen around a 1920x1080 play area.
It's really good if you use a lot of apps with second windows, or you'd like your browser alongside your work. When I'm doing music, it's nice to have the arrangement window open with the mixer window, but right now that only really works on ultra-high resolution screens or two-monitor set-ups. Using a second monitor isn't great for producers anyway, since fitting two display monitors in the space between your monitor speakers is a bit of a problem for sound. Also for digital art, I could have a duplicate Photoshop window at a close zoom alongside the zoomed out one, and work in detail while keeping an eye on the whole scene at the same time. I'd also like to avoid two screens for a lower energy bill.
Bring on the megapix !
This is an autentic bomb! Would be a great x-mas gift.
GL to all btw but i hope i get lucky this time
I've entered, but I think I'd need to do some upgrading of my PC to be able to power it!
I would like this one very much....good luck.
I am still on a 7 and a half year old 20" 1680X1050 Philips 200W6CS monitor ATM. It would be nice to win a new monitor!
Darn, just UK and Europe only
