Good survey but was annoyed I had to answer the first question. Thankfully I can say I haven't had a virus etc for at least the last 8 years or any other malware (and that caused no damage) but then I am pretty careful where I source my applications from and I keep browsers etc up to date.
Question 3, I can't even parse properly.
same here, who cares about the internet of things anyway
Survey seems to be broken - there's no 'none of the above' type option, yet it demands you select something.
yeah question one should have a never had a virus option. also question 3 doesn't make any sense hahaha
Can't complete it due to it demanding an answer when none apply...
Also, FYI, Virus and malware listed as separate options? A virus is one form of malware, so selecting malware as a concern automatically includes virus. It's also the most common form of malware... now, an option for "other forms of malware", that would work... maybe I'm just being picky...
Job and business sector options were a bit limited
Have to be honest and say to me personally some of those questions didn't really work with the answers provided. The one about mobile phones I was like... seriously doesn't this depend on the os being used because the main three use different approaches.
However I'm pretty sure the reason for the survey is more about 'proving' ARMS hardware protection is a good thing because people want to be protected from all the bad things out there.
The first question, which has been sorted now, for the first sentence. As for the virus/malware question, the question on threat ranking. I just found it odd to rank virus and malware separately, when a virus is a form of malware (malicious software), and the most common form. It's like asking what's the worst thing on the roads, cars or vehicles?

Is it me or do the questions seem loaded to ensure that respondents seem to lean towards a hardware enforced security solution?

I answered, but given that my attitude towards most IoT devices I've seen proposed so far is that I either see little to no benefit, or for privacy reasons wouldn't consider having them in the house.
IoT home heating? No interest.
IoT fridge/freezer? Hell, no, no way.
Smart TV? Well, got one .... and the internet connection has never been configured, let alone had a cable connected.
And so on.
IoT? Don't see what it gains me that I place any value on. Which made some of the questions hard to answer.
