    Xbox 360 HD DVD Player Moves to $179, Adds Five Free HD DVDs

    Microsoft have announced they’re going to drop the price of the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player from $199 to $179 starting August 1st and will add five free HD DVD movies for anyone purchasing an Xbox 360 HD DVD Player between August 1st and September 30th. However, this drop and bundle deal will only be for the US... once again leaving us Europeans with our arses hanging in the wind.

    Your telling me that in a small world like this you dont know anyone in the US that cuold send you one as a gift?

    fat lot of good though - the region code is set by the console (not the drive) rendering the free movies useless
