    Acer to take on ASUS in low-cost notebook market

    In the first half of 2008, Acer will become the latest manufacturer to begin offering low-cost notebooks, directly competing with ASUS' EeePC.

    just to note - the heading makes it sound like acer never was a low-cost notebook market, which we all know they are...
