Well what if I already made a sandwich (and eaten it), had a drink, know ALL the backstory and don't buy his crap about "how its no big deal" and it's "installing"?
Well (exploitive deleted) you buddy.
See System Specs.
AAhh this game stinks imo, never really been a fan.
got the demo from the store a few days back - not bad but im still unsure wether im gonna buy it or not yet - depends on other releases in that time area . . . .and if i claw myself away from COD4
XBOX: BauerPrime
It is not really a game on my horizon personally but i mean whats the big deal? Wait 20 minutes the first time you install, at least you get faster load times every time you play after. If its the size - well big hard drives are not exactly that expensive? Seems allot of fuss about nothing imo.

What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...
either way, 360 fanboys will be laughing at you ps3 owners. i kind of feel sorry for you ps3 fans out there
Personally I've got no problem waiting 20 minutes for faster load times from then on, its no worse than a PC, I've had games take longer to install... and still have incredibly long load times. Personally I think a lot of people are making a fuss about nothing.
I suppose anyone thats never really owned a PC and had to experience installation of a game before might find it a bit of an alien concept but I've been playing PC Games for so long now that installation seems normal to me.
The only problem I can see is if you have 5 or 6 games that do this then with the 40gb HDD it will be full pretty quickly which would be rather annoying.
The whole point of a console, surely, is to drop the disk in and play no? I don't think a one off wait fo 20 mins is much of a big deal, but it does seem to defeat the purpose of a console. Have they explained why they need to do it on the PS3 and they don't on the 360?
Sounds like the load times are not decreased by that much anyway.
to be honest, my short response would be:
"it starts as a 'one off' i just hope i can afford PS3 vista OS for when DMC5 comes out"

Its not that they don't need to do it on the 360, its that they can't presume that everyone has a hard drive on the 360 (because of the core/arcade version) so don't allow that ability. I personally think a better idea would be to give it as an option on both ps3 and 360 to speed up loading times, don't force it on either, but don't cut it out either.
The only real thing I can think of is that the data is compressed on the disc and so it has to be uncompressed onto the Hard Drive so that it can actually be read... although I'd have thought they could have put it uncompressed onto the disk and offered the choice... Seems like an odd decision by Capcom but personally I have no problem with it Once I finally get a PS3 I won't mind doing this.
