yeh i looked at that then snubbed it for being USB and all that does is bugger up games as they dont know where to look
its not half the price, its £7 less than play.com
plus they cant take a track clip pro for trackIr from what i read, so thats 2/3 fail on them
Don't like the USB connection on those Logitechs.
I need a new set of headphones as well, mine took quite a savage knock recently and the right earpeice starts rattling occasionally and needs a well placed whack to stop the annoying sound
I do like the idea of 7.1 but as mentioned, the USB conenction is a put-off....plus I tried the 5.1 Medusas a while ago and couldn't notice much directionailty over a standard stereo headset, leading me to think that directional audio isn't great on a headset.
Has anyone tried the Logitechs? Any feedback on them? or any of the high-end headsets for that matter!

I can't comment on the Logitechs, but I find that decent stereo headphones + some software (including, but probably not limited to CMSS with Creative sound card) can produce some rather credible directional audio IMO.
yeh i know how to use the search button so i dug this from the grave
agreed, the 5.1 is a bit of show imho, the only way i know somethings behind is due to the rear speakers being quiet and then its still hard to figure out where they are..
and as for the center speaker, it doesnt weigh up having one in each ear lol
oh well someone might give me £30 for the 5.1, medusa home thingys
No way Jose!
Way too steep for a pair of cans.
£50-£60 would probably be my limit.
