A NAS box which also plays back the media?

Much as I love NAS boxes, will you want a noisy (?) NAS box next to your TV?
Much as I love NAS boxes, great for downloading with PC off but this isn't a low power downloader as 4 drives and a Geode use a reasonable amount of power.

I call Jack of All Trades but Master of None.

Ok maybe I am being harsh but I have a Linkstation Live which downloads beautifully and is on 24/7 as a web server etc etc... uses 14W (ie very little). I have a low power MG35 networked mediaplayer which needs no HD and streams from the Linkstation. That means ONLY when I watch video or listen to audio do I add maybe another 6W to my power bill.

I wonder what this uses power wise? I hope the Hexus review addresses that. I'd be happy to do a review if Tarinder replies to the emails this time
