at this point i feel it neccessary to praise sony, for not including region-protection in games on the ps3

and smaller props to he 360, where it's optional

It's optional on the PS3 too, just no-one's done it... except they do make use of region locking online by IP, which Australia is a victim of fairly often...

And the PSN is region specific too with a non-transferable wallet, which means unless you have a credit card registered in that region, you can't load it with cash.
