    Not sure about those chairs.

If I come in one day and need to wait can I take a seat in the F1 car?

You'd better not be able to because staff aren't

I can see the cleaners waiting for everyone to go home and jumping in and start making racing car noises.

Re: Headlines - Scan.co.uk expands its Bolton store with huge new retail section

I would always buy in store rather than online if I had the choice.

It's a pain in the arse having to deal with courier companies, especially Citylink with their ninja card delivery skills. You make sure someone will be at home in the 8 hour window they give you and they still manage to make it to the door and post a card through without alerting the dog. I really don't know why they do it. Do they get paid extra if they have to do 2 deliveries?

Also, as NightshadowUK said, if something goes wrong i'd much rather take it back personally and actually speak to someone face to face that go through all the hassle of arranging collection via the aforementioned stealth couriers.

Any chance of opening a Peterborough branch of Scan? Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Is there an easy way to get to Scan's retail outlet? i.e. by train and bus?

I'm from Sheffield and I'm really eager to pay Scan a visit at some point, but in this case... I don't intend to drive there (with the fuel prices now) and I may be willing to pay for a taxi however if it cost more than a fiver to get there from a train station then probably not..

Maybe the guys at Scan can shed some light..

Loyal customer here, but just not dedicated enough if its miles away from civilisation..
Get the train from Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly. Then head over to platform 14 and get the train heading to Blackpool North. Horwich Parkway is the second stop after Bolton.

Walk straight out of the station towards the Reebok stadium and turn left. Walk along the road towards the roadabout. Once at the roundabout head towards Kia Motors up to the right and Scan is right behind there.

Ever since moving to Manchester I've become a regular visitor. New reception looks good, glad those old chairs have gone.

That looks really like the new Micro Direct showroom. Any idea if they were done by the same people?

I think goods ordered online will need to be returned through the post rather than taking them back to the store. Atleast that's what I was told by the CS.
