Thats a really good looking laptop but it would be even better looking and more practical if they were to round of the corners.
Great! I loke the idea of using bamboo for things like this. Looks great and is sustainable.
I would love one of them, but it all depends how much they cost I'm guessing a fair bit tbh. A great looking idea though.
Surely, the bamboo is a bit of a gimmick, since it'll probably just be a veneer on top of plastic.
And Adam... see you tomorrow. You have to guess who I am.
I'm slightly sceptical about the ecological credentials of the bamboo, if they've flown it half way around the world to use it it's probably worse than the plastic - could be another Toyota Prius.
Having said that, you can't argue about the style, it looks fantastic.
Surely this is style masquerading as environmental consciousness... It screams "Feel good about the bamboo, feel good about the bamboo!".
Bah, I'm not doing that You can find me and creep me out by knowing stuff about me. There's a pic of me on one of the threads so you can start there What year you in?
Same as you.
Perhaps, but bamboo is a sustainable resource and extremely fast growing - up to 4ft a day!!

True, but the potential is there, more so than plastics thats for sure.
How about a desktop PC with a Bamboo front panel?
How about Bamboo drive bay covers that slide in and out from the top?
How about Bamboo facia panels on optical drives?
