    Hmmm very interesting indeed! Is this perhaps a sign of a shift away from HDD less models? TBH I think MS should be pushing a cheap model complete with hard drive at the bottom of the range not just the arcade by itself.

    I tried this (Arcade with a 20gb HDD) and it said I had sufficient space so it must know I have a HDD from the console ID (via live perhaps?) Was looking forward to a cheap drive!
    How can the dash update be forced on users if they don't have a mem card/HDD (even if they HAVE one they might not plug it in) would be interesting to see how the console would handle that.
