I agree, i always ignore the official "PS3" magazine type prejudiced scores, and check the more independent sources. The latter of which seem to be scoring it very highly on metacritic. Time will tell.

It must be good to be honest, IGN Austrilia gave it a 9/10 and they always seem to slam games quite harshly

Though yeah, I am losing my trust in reviews now days. Anyone who can say the generic POS that is Far Cry 2 is something good, can't be trusted, and all those GTA 4 10/10 scores... the game is average...

I think the more telling score on the page is the user score

Seems pretty second rate to me, unless your paid to review games that is then its a must own PS3 game, but then again with the lack of any true exclusives anything that is even half good becomes a must own.

I agree any one who gave GTA4 anything over a 7 should have their scores adjusted to reflect criminaly low standards.

Just taken a look at the gametrailers.com video review. PS3 owners should be made up with this, it looks like a really good game and a must buy if you like a good shooter and already own a PS3. I am not going to make the jump yet but if Sony has a few more titles like this up its sleeve, does something about the entry price then who knows.
